It's been a busy month since I last posted on the blog, and it's not that easy to find time to blog. But I'll try to capture the highlights of the past few weeks.
Abby is doing incredibly well. The quiet and reserved little girl has come out of her shell. We would have never believed it that first week in China. She keeps up with the big kids when they run around the yard, even goes down the big slide alone; she fights you off if you try to dress her...has to do everything herself these days; cleans up her own mess...loves going to the garbage pail. She's become more outgoing, and she's extremely happy.
Ana and Abby are getting along great. In fact, Ana recently said "mommy, I think Abby is crazy about me." I think she's right. Abby will copy everything that Ana does. (Oh no!) It is so funny to see how Abby really looks up to Ana already, which makes Ana feel so good.
Last night, we had a girls camp out on Ana's bedroom floor -- nap mats, milk and graham crackers, marshmallows, even played our guitars and sang songs mommy remembered from Girl Scout camp many moons ago. Daddy missed out since he was on a business trip.
