Monday morning blues

March 16, 5:00 a.m.

Steve heads back to work this morning, and all three of his girls are surely going to miss him, especially after having him with us all day long the past three weeks. If it's anything like when we first brought Ana home, I'll be calling Steve at noon saying "are you coming home from work yet?"

Yesterday's milestones: First mass at Prince of Peace Church...first chance to run around the fellowship hall with Ana. Mastered her pink potty, and loves the whole routine...sit, smile, go, wipe, climb the step stool and wash hands. (Okay, so I am making you crazy with all these details!) Loves Ana's playhouse, especially the door bell. Stayed up later than big sister, who (like mommy) is still having trouble with her body clock. Abby is amazingly comfortable in her new home and with her daily routine...sleeping through the night.

God has blessed us so much, with safe and healthy travels these past several weeks and a wonderful family. Thank you all for being there with us on this daily journey. We'll continue to blog and add new photos. That is, as long as I can manage finding time between the laundry piles.

Have to go now. Everyone should be rising soon for the first "regular" day of the rest of our lives.
