Another full day in Beijing. We went to the Pearl district today, and Ana got the chance to strand a set of pearls on her own. See how focused she is in the photo. Tonight we joined our friends and their three girls at a hot pot restaurant where we cooked our own food tableside. Afterwards, we saw an amazing acrobatics show. Ana was mesmerized, and Steve and I wondered just how they can get their bodies to do those things. Only four days left till we get Abby Lin!
Following your blog has given us the chuckle we need to get through the day. I'm so glad you were able to go early and let Ana experience everything she's done so far! The best part is yet to come!!! ~China Dept.~

Hey Miss Ana,
ReplyDeleteOnly three more days until you are an
"Official BIG Sister"!!! Abby Lin is
going to be so lucky to have you as her
sister.
It looks like you are having a wonderful time
in China. I love your pearls!! Maybe you can let Aunt Lytheda wear them sometime.
When mom and dad aren't to busy, maybe they will let you write me a note, just to say "Hi". Be good and give that baby sister a kiss for me.
I Love You!!
